As an Edge Analytics Developer, you will work internationally, applying edge analytics solutions to our hardware and software products while collaborating with a team of experts. Reporting to the Head of Digital Services, you will be responsible for ensuring that analytics models and products are scalable, reusable, and aligned with Danfoss' strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing edge analytics solutions that enhance our industrial offerings. You will work closely with business owners and key stakeholders to understand short- and long-term analytics needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:
 

Building business understanding of analytics with key business owners and stakeholders. Translating use cases into practical technical solutions and ensuring productization. Defining development best practices for edge analytics and identifying process gaps that hinder analytics potential. Leading hands-on development projects related to edge analytics, ensuring delivery of solutions that meet customer needs. Ensuring that analytics models and products are robust, reusable, and scalable. Communicating analytics gaps, improvement plans, and tracking progress on enhancements. Maintaining a consistent vision for analytics and identifying opportunities for further leveraging and improvement. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating with them and engaging with customers. Background & Skills

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong technical background combined with a deep understanding of analytics, IoT, and embedded systems. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and can turn complex business challenges into actionable technical solutions.
 

We also imagine that you:
 

Hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering, Software, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Have 3+ years of experience in data analytics, embedded software development, and IoT device/system development. Have a strong understanding of different analytics solutions and their practical application in solving business challenges. Possess a proven track record in executing analytics improvements in a corporate environment. Have experience developing analytics solutions that generate real value and benefits for users. Are capable of conceptualizing complex business challenges and simplifying them into implementable and deployable solutions. Have extensive experience in Agile frameworks such as Scrum; previous experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar product development leadership role is a strong advantage. Have excellent communication skills in English, with multi-cultural working experience preferred. Bring knowledge of electrical engineering, product technology, and industrial applications, which would be a strong plus.
