Description Job Title: EDI Developer Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid-3 Days) Salary: $90,000-110,000/year Job Description: Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced EDI Developer for our client in Madison, WI. This is a Direct/Permanent Hire role that will require a hybrid work schedule. The EDI Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. This hybrid role, based in the Madison, Wisconsin area, includes coordination with IT, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams, and development and maintenance of EDI software and custom applications using C# and SQL Server. Key Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and maintain EDI/AS2 solutions using standard protocols. + Configure and manage EDI processes including mapping, translation, and communication. + Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues using varied technologies/tools. + Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to implement EDI solutions. + Monitor and optimize EDI processes for optimum performance and reliability. + Document EDI processes and troubleshooting procedures. + Provide technical support and training to internal teams and end-users. + Develop and maintain EDI integrations and custom utilities using a variety of different technologies. Requirements Qualifications: · The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent work experience. · A minimum of 3+ years' experience in an EDI Engineer role or similar position, with a strong understanding of EDI protocols and standards is required. · Proficiency in EDI tools and software, SQL skills, and experience with data transformation tools (SSIS) are essential. · Development experience in C#, .Net, PowerShell, REST, or other is preferred. · The candidate should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment is required.
