EDI Developer - ASL Distribution

EDI Developers are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electronic data interchange systems. An individual in this role is also responsible for understanding the needs of the clients and providing software solutions that meet their needs.
The following are the essential duties and responsibilities required of an Edi Developer:
Design, implement, and maintain electronic data interchange systemsCollaborate with clients to understand and develop software solutions that align with client needsDevelop scripts and programs to automate tasks in EDI systemsSupport EDI transmissions and troubleshoot technical issuesDevelop and maintain software documentation and user manualsEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsMaintain awareness of emerging trends and technologies in EDI systemsResponsibilities
Design, develop and maintain EDI solutionsWork with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of EDI solutions with existing systemsCreate and maintain EDI maps using various EDI toolsAssist in testing and troubleshooting of EDI transactionsProvide support to other teams for EDI-related issuesStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in EDIRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in EDI developmentStrong knowledge of EDI X12 standards and EDI translator toolsExperience with EDI mapping, trading partner setup, and EDI communications protocols (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, etc.)Ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience or knowledge of RAMP is a plus.Familiarity with Cleo Systems is a plus.
