As an EDI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions within our transportation operations. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI systems and processes to support our logistics activities. Responsibilities: + EDI Implementation: + Analyze and assess client EDI requirements to determine the most suitable solutions. + Configure and implement EDI systems and mapping rules. + Test and validate EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. + EDI Maintenance: + Monitor and troubleshoot EDI systems and processes to identify and resolve issues promptly. + Update and maintain EDI maps and configurations as needed. + Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding EDI-related matters. + Data Management: + Manage and maintain EDI data files and databases. + Ensure data integrity and accuracy. + Compliance: + Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to EDI. + Ensure compliance with EDI standards and guidelines. + Collaboration: + Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, IT, customer service) to ensure seamless EDI integration. + Work closely with clients and carriers to address EDI-related concerns. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in information technology, supply chain management, or a related field. + Proven experience in EDI implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. + Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT). + Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and software (e.g., Gentran, Sterling Integrator). + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
