Description We are offering an opportunity for an Editor II in Seattle, WA 98109. In this role, you will primarily focus on managing and publishing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for internal support teams. You will work in a fast-paced, technical environment, collaborating with Content Management Specialists and ensuring the quality of all published content. Responsibilities: • Ensure the staging and publishing of SOPs within the content management system. • Collaborate with Content Management Specialists to understand their draft SOPs, and transform the documentation into the required coded format. • Perform copy editing tasks on the documents prior to publishing to the SOP repository. • Operate a complex staging system that identifies the marketplaces and languages supported by the SOP. • Ensure the quality and usefulness of all content published to the SOP repository. • Seek clarity in ambiguous situations to ensure customers have the best possible experience. • Work with Content Specialists to improve the SOP before publishing, should any issues arise. • Demonstrate efficiency in managing a queue of work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Adjust to changes in priorities and production responsibilities, working well within a team environment. • Innovate to update and create process and technical solutions to problems. • Correct grammar and spelling mistakes made by the Content Specialist. • Provide high-quality content and be resourceful, customer-focused with an ability to work independently under time constraints. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating the ability to handle client interactions with tact and professionalism. • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and concise information exchange. • Ability to manage Documentation effectively, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date. • Commitment to Quality, striving for high standards in all tasks and projects. • Proficiency in time management, aptly named 'About Time', to ensure deadlines are consistently met. • Experience in Production, specifically in a publishing or media environment. • Familiarity with managing Websites, including design, updates, and troubleshooting. • Proficiency in English Language, both written and spoken, ensuring the production of high-quality content. • Knowledge of HTML and Coding, to enable effective management of web content. • Experience in Standard Operation Procedure, ensuring adherence to organizational norms and guidelines. • Understanding of Business Process Functions, and how they relate to the role of an editor. • Proficiency in XML Technologies, using them efficiently to manage web content. • Knowledge of A Plus, or other similar software, to aid in content editing and management. • Familiarity with Assertion Markup Language, to facilitate effective web content management. • Experience with Content Management System (CMS), to streamline the process of digital content management. • Ability to utilize Respository tools for effective content storage and retrieval. • Experience in Content Management, ensuring that all content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date. • Excellent Spelling skills, to ensure the production of error-free content. • Ability to provide Technical Solutions to any issues that may arise during the content management process. • Familiarity with various Marketplaces, to ensure the content produced is relevant and appealing to the target audience.
