As an early career professional, you will be part of a paid internship program that will include a robust learning and training curriculum, mentorship from employees in your selected field, access to senior leaders, and more. Job Description:
The Editorial Intern will be a vital member of the Bon Appétit and Epicurious team, supporting editors and departments across both food brands. In this role, the Editorial Intern will be immersed in the world of food, helping build and create content that lives across our platforms, including in the new Epicurious app.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting Bon Appétit and Epicurious teams with a wide array of day-to-day tasks including building recipes and articles in our CMS, writing galleries and blogs, helping to update evergreen content, conducting research for editorial projects, and helping support the brands across platforms
Pitching and taking assignments for BA and Epicurious stories across all content verticals
Attending and participating in staff meetings, including editorial brainstorms
Assisting and collaborating across teams on select special projects, packages, and tentpole editorial events, as needed
The ideal candidate will:
Be highly organized and proactive
Be enthusiastic and open to feedback
Be willing to get involved in many different projects
Possess strong writing and interpersonal communication skills
Have knowledge of and passion for food; culinary training a bonus
Be up to date on food culture and social media trends—i.e., always know what people are talking about right now
Bring a fresh perspective to content and special projects
Understand the basics of SEO and analytics, or have a deep willingness to learn
Hourly Pay: $25/hr
