Job Description
The Applications Engineer is responsible for the demonstration, sales support, and instruction of programming machines. This role involves providing both pre-sale support through test cuts and demonstrations and post-sale support through training, machine programming, problem-solving, and service.
ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate and provide sales support for programming machines.Provide training and instruction on machine programming and operations.Support customers by troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.Utilize CAD/CAM systems, materials, tooling, and end mills.Maintain integrity and ethics in all interactions with customers.Diagnose and solve production issues.Work independently and handle customer complaints regarding equipment malfunctions.Report to the General Manager or National Service Manager.
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.Working knowledge of printed circuit boards and electronic devices.Experience with PLC and robot programming.Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems, materials, tooling, and end mills.Excellent customer service skills.Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.Technical curiosity and problem-solving abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree (preferred).Project management experience.Engineering sales experience.Experience with automation engineering.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
