What you´ll need:
Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)Basic knowledge of automotive systems and electrical circuits.Basic understanding of automotive systems. Familiarity with wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.Understanding of electrical connectors, terminals, and cable assembly techniques.Programming Languages:Proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or SQL is essential for writing code and managing data.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under supervision.Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report findings.What you´ll do:
Assist in the design and layout of wiring harnessesAnalyze Program Direction Letters and Trim Spiders.Maintain build level complexity charts.Perform Harness Complexity Analysis.Collaborate with teams for accurate cost estimation.Support in selecting appropriate materials and connectors based on performance and cost considerationsEnsure compliance with cost, weight, quality, and timing targets. Apply Robustness Engineering Disciplines (e.g., FMEA). Understand and apply Six Sigma and 8D methodologies Audit and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for builds.Understand and apply Six Sigma and 8D methodologies.
