About the Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX
Cornell is committed to upholding the civil rights of all community members and fostering learning, living, and working environments of equal opportunity, fairness, and accessibility. The university has entrusted the Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX (OIETIX) with ensuring these commitments are met through policy and process, prevention and training, data collection and analysis, incident response and resolution, and compliance with federal, state, and local civil rights.
The Opportunity
Cornell’s Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX is dedicated to providing comprehensive, impactful, and engaging educational programs and solutions to the Cornell community (students, faculty, and staff) in the areas of protected-status discrimination, harassment and bias, sex and gender-based harassment and misconduct, employee reasonable accommodations, equal employment opportunity, and other equity focused programming. You will apply a comprehensive understanding of civil rights compliance requirements and University policies and procedures to training and education opportunities that you will develop and provide to the campus community.
Working with the OIETIX Equity Data Analysis Specialist, you will assist in the development and implementation of data collection and analyses projects (e.g., climate surveys, listening sessions, open forums), and design research-based strategic action plans relative to training initiatives.
