Statement of Purpose:
Oversees the clinical education and supervision of radiology technology students enrolled in an accredited affiliated Radiologic Technology program under the supervision of the Diagnostic Director and the Manager of Radiology. Provides students with clinical instruction/supervision and reinforcement of clinical objectives within the hospital setting. Plans and coordinates in-service education programs for the Department of Diagnostic Imaging.
Qualifications:
Education:
An associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training required
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Education, or Healthcare Management preferred.
Certification / License:
ARRT registered required
MA Radiologic Technologist license and up to date C.E.U.’s required
Current certification in CPR/BLS required
Experience:
Five-year, technologist level experience, preferably hospital based. Prior experience in supervision, leadership, instruction and evaluation preferred
