As Education Government Engagement & Sales Specialist, you will be a key part of our Education Sales team and will drive Apple’s core education messaging with customers focused on influencing education government leaders to implement Apple solutions. You will be a trusted advisor to education government leaders who are looking to Apple for guidance on driving change and transformation across their education systems. This is a highly strategic role that requires working across complex environments, inspiring others, and making effective business decisions. This role involves supporting engagements with international financing institutions in Washington DC as well as education customers, particularly those in the Latin America & Caribbean region. DescriptionDescriptionIn this role, you will: Drive market share and revenue via Education Government leaders, particularly in the ALAC region as well as through Washington DC stakeholders to ignite learning outcomes and priorities. Support engagements with international financing institutions in Washington DC as well as education customers particularly those in the Latin America & Caribbean region. Serve as a trusted advisor to education leaders and international institutions in education helping them transform teaching and learning with Apple products and services at scale. Design and implement education government sales strategies from end to end, with a particular focus on building capacity of education sales staff and channel to respond successfully to public tenders. Work closely with customers and field team to influence and land large-scale digital education sales opportunities at national and international level. Provide training and support to channel partners in driving government sales opportunities in education Support field and channel in creating pre-RFP input and RFP response materials to land large-scale device opportunities.Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsTypically requires a minimum of 12+ years in roles related to public sector technology sales, policy and system change, education technology research, senior education leadership in education technology or governmental affairs related to education technology.Deep knowledge and experience of public sector procurement, preferably in large education accounts.In-depth knowledge of educational technology procurement strategies, particularly in ALAC, along with experience in global markets, procurement process and RFPs.Experience in business development or sales, preferably in a large tech company.Strong knowledge of the K-12 or higher education market, preferably across multiple countries, with an understanding of the Latin America & Caribbean region.Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships, with a track record of establishing solid connections with regional clients and working cross-functionallyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree required.Fluent in Spanish and/or PortugueseKey QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsMaster's or Doctorate degree preferred.Innovative mind set and ability to think “out of the box” and challenge the status-quoExcellent presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.Experience working in a global, matrixed organization across multiple timezones.Proven track record in landing sales opportunities by engaging with government leaders in multiple markets globally through direct customer connection and engagement strategies.Education & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsPay & BenefitsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,800 and $230,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
