Position Description

Provides instruction to new and expectant parents on a variety of perinatal health issues. The Education Instructor has advanced training and skill in the area of Maternal-Child and/or education. Works with women of child- bearing ages.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED:
1. 2 years prior clinical and/or adult education experience. 2. 2 years’ experience in a position with demonstrated critical thinking, customer service, interpersonal and verbal communication skills 3. Demonstrated knowledge in the use of audiovisual equipment. 4. Certified to perform CPR by either American Heart Association or Medic First Aid, or must become certified within probationary period. 5. Certified as an American Heart Association and/or Medic First Aid BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR
PREFERRED:
1. B.S. or B.A. degree in Education, related health field, or a national certification in area of expertise
