POSITION SUMMARY The Education and Training Manager is responsible for managing the Academics and Career Technical Training functions, providing oversight of student academic and career technical training programs. This position ensures student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program while providing students with industry-recognized training and credentials leading to full-time jobs or advanced education. The role involves supervising the Education & Training Department staff and ensuring the integrity of student data. RESPONSIBILITIES + Supervise and manage the Education & Training Department staff + Ensure compliance with integrity guidelines and procedures regarding student data + Provide comprehensive and individualized case management for students + Ensure the Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals + Maintain high-quality academic and career technical training programming + Organize and maintain a clean and safe learning environment + Motivate and empower staff to perform their responsibilities effectively + Conduct staff interviews, evaluations, and performance management + Develop community linkages for education and employment opportunities + Provide quality programs and services that meet student needs Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree from an accredited school required. Masters degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of two years experience in teaching or related field required. A valid instate teaching certificate preferred.
