Blue Yonder Title: Education Manager, EMEA Region
Overview: As the Education Manager, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive education and training programs for customers of our software products. Your role will involve managing training delivery, identifying training needs and assessing the effectiveness of educational initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that education services align with business goals and contribute to the success of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities: As the Education Manager, you serve as the business owner of the region and are accountable for the following:
• Developing and executing the overall Education Services sales-to-delivery strategy for the region.
• Addressing feedback received through the Voice of the Associate (VOA) survey.
• Forecasting and reporting revenue to higher leadership.
• Achieving revenue and EBITDA goals for the region.
• Strategically matching the best training delivery resources to project needs within the cost structure.
• Ensuring the profitability of each education project, including public classes and private sessions, while maintaining healthy margins.
• Managing and coaching the regional training delivery team, facilitating cross-training for maximum utilization and productivity.
• Managing the regional education services coordinator team.
• Approving timesheet entries in Upland and Workday expenses for direct reports and guest Instructors/Contractors.
• Ensuring Upland project assignments/work-codes are appropriately assigned for upcoming training.
• Closely monitoring the Education Services Pipeline for effective resource planning.
• Leading the development and execution of project training schedules/delivery.
• Collaborating with Sales/ES Sales teams to develop and execute customer education plans and drive new back-sell opportunities.
• Identifying gaps in global training delivery team resources and collaborating with other lines of business to address business needs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures, ensuring the productivity of Education Services team members in their daily activities.
• Ensuring a high customer satisfaction rate (Net Promoter Score - NPS) for education services and serving as the escalation point of contact for all issues.
• Providing project management for unique customer education projects (e.g., high profile, beta, complex, large-scale, custom) and serving as the primary education contact as needed.
• Conducting quarterly performance reviews.
• Creating development plans and fostering continuous learning opportunities to meet global training delivery resource needs based on forecasted business.
• Developing effective plans to address backlog consumption.
• Primary Education Services representative for the region both internally and externally. Additionally, serving as a backup for other regions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in education services, training, or a related role within the software industry.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Around 5 years of experience in education services, training, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred.
• Project management skills and/or certification or demonstrated success managing competing priorities on time and on budget. Proficiency using project management software, is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders and business leaders
• Experience delivering customized programs that develop and inspire leaders
• Ability to generate results through influence in a matrixed, global environment with multiple and diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple complex projects
