TheEducation Program Consultant (Health/PE)will be an integral member of the Learner Strategies and Supports Bureau, providing technical assistance, leadership and support to school districts, Area Education Agencies, and non-public schools. Your Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance and disseminate information including evidence-based practices to area education agencies and school district personnel through: guidance, a website, professional development, and programming, for supporting physical education (including adapted) and health. Provide leadership for statewide physical education and health programs for the development of instructional resources, supporting tools and processes for physical education (including adapted) and health within comprehensive efforts of the Department. Develop and maintain professional working relationships, and coordinate and integrate efforts with area education agency and local school district personnel, appropriate personnel from college and university teacher preparation programs, and relevant state and national professional and service organizations, foundations, and coalitions for physical education and health. Provide overall coordination of EPA Water Infrastructure for the Nation (WIIN) Grant: Lead Testing in School and Child Care Program.
