Job Description

Manages a caseload of student participants, their academic success, mentorship relationships, and curriculum milestones in the Northwell Community Scholars Program.

Job Responsibility

 

Aids the development of education materials and manuals; participates in the design and development of learning experiences; instruction strategies for new and existing training programs.  Communicates regularly with students, mentors and school partners. Documents and records interactions with all participants. Designs training sessions.  Coordinates training program schedules with participants, instructors and facility management.  Develops the communication of educational programs to appropriate departments.  Helps in conducting needs assessment within the organization to determine direction of training programs.  Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.  Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification

 

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. 1-3 years of relevant experience, required. Prior experience working with adolescent population, preferred. Prior Case management, job coaching, or career advisement experience, preferred. Time management and attention to detail, preferred. Bilingual in English & Spanish, preferred.
