Position Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinates implementation of staff development, orientation, in-service, and other education/training programs and curricula. Stays current with Radiology best practices and advancements to ensure the relevance of educational content. Conducts classes and training sessions.
2. Designs and produces educational materials, including handouts, presentations, and online resources. Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of educational tools.
3. Collects and analyzes data on workforce projects and partners with manager to develop specific strategies for improvement.
4. Engages with Clinical Education, HR, HRIS and other departments to identify tools & programs for use in Radiology.
5. Coordinates student placements for clinical rotations and job shadowing experiences and communicates with educational institutions to ensure proper alignment of curriculum and clinical opportunities.
6. Conducts research to create new resources, tools, and job aids that support workforce initiatives.
7. Plans and organizes departmental events and meetings. Manages logistics such as venue selection, scheduling, and material preparation. Ensures communication and follow-up with participants and stakeholders.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED:
1. Five (5) years Radiology experience
2. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
3. Strong project management, organizational and event planning skills.
4. Proficiency in creating educational content and delivering training.
5. Bachelor’s Degree
PREFERRED:
1. Previous experience in education, program coordination, or similar role.
2. Two (2) years of experience in a clinical Supervisor Radiology setting
