Education Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description At this educational nonprofit, we believe exceptional talent is foundational for us to achieve our mission of launching and operating a national network of high-quality, tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced areas. When you join us as an Education Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lay the foundation for education talent strategy, focusing on school-based roles including teachers, school leaders, and regional staff. You will identify and engage with prospective candidates across multiple geographies and roles simultaneously. Using innovative sourcing methods, you will build robust, diverse talent pipelines. Ultimately, you will generate interest in our career opportunities and expand brand awareness through strategic outreach to passive candidates. You are a problem solver. As you come across barriers to achieving goals, you look at the data, gather information from people, and connect the dots. With a bias towards action, you quickly applying your learnings, pivoting, or trying new things entirely. Further, you will serve as an adviser to the team on all things sourcing and outreach, making key recommendations. You will bring experience identifying and attracting educators, comfort with high volume hiring, an acumen for interviewing and screening talent, a strong personal commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, andabove alla strong passion for our mission. Skills and Requirements · Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree · Five or more years of professional experience with at least two years of recruiting experience or other talent acquisition experience in a high-growth environment · Strong written communication skills · Expertise in a wide variety of sourcing and outreach strategies and a proven track record of sourcing large, diverse pipelines · Comfort and confidence with core recruiting technology including applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.), onboarding and employee management systems, and reporting/analytics technology (Excel, etc.) · Experience recruiting educators or prior experience in education · Proven ability to work independently on key projects, producing high-quality work products · Exemplary organizational skills and orientation to detail · Knowledge of digital marketing strategy and operations · Strong understanding of leading diversity, equity, and inclusion practices for talent recruitment null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
