TITLE: Campus Initiatives Manager – Washington University
Job Objective
The Campus Initiatives Manager, in partnership with the Resident Regional Director and select campus partners, is responsible for building programs designed to bring customer driven initiatives, that extend beyond custodial contract obligations, to life. In addition to program design, the CI Manager will develop processes to measure team member engagement and support effective communication, ongoing assessment, feedback, and follow up. As a member of the leadership team, the CI Manager will also provide administrative support related to Special Services and recruitment activities.

• Design and manage the Betterment Gift Program to support initiatives to enhance the education and life skills of HES employees.
o Create and deliver marketing materials to promote participation.
o Build the application and selection process.
o Track all applicants and participant progress.
o Design individualized plans based on participant goals.
o Counsel and mentor participants throughout the process.
o Collect and analyze data to report on program outcomes.
o Work effectively within budgetary constraints.
• Promote participation in campus sustainability initiatives.
o Identify team members interested in participating in programs such as SOS, RecycleMania, the Green Office Initiative, etc.
o Create a “Green Team” to actively promote sustainability efforts and ensure compliance from all HES team members.
• Support recruitment and onboarding tasks as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and corporate information.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and team members in a positive and professional manner.
• Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, payroll, assisting in HR matters, copying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
• File and retrieve organizational documents, records, and reports.
• Process monthly Special Services invoices and submit per the Monthly Finance Calendar
• May conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation to the Assistant Director(s), Director, and Regional Director.
• Assist in special events as directed.
• Attend monthly leadership meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director.
Supervisory Responsibility
On occasion as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Certifications: N/A
Experience: At least three (3) years’ experience in an educational environment and/or mentoring role.
Skills: Basic custodial knowledge, computer literacy, mechanical knowledge, good oral and written communication skills, and good mathematical competency.
