Responsibilities

RN Educator - Critical Care

Dignity Health - St Bernardine is looking for a Clinical Educator for their Critical Care departments. This position plans coordinates and implements staff development continuing education orientation annual update and competency evaluation processes including remediation of staff. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

Qualifications

Four years of nursing experience with demonstrated progressive teaching and communication skills OR five years of nursing experience with specialty certification AND Masters in progressMaster's degree in related field OR Master's degree in progressCurrent valid California nursing LicenseBLSAppropriate Specialty Certification.Preferred: ACLS CertificationPreferred: Critical Care experience including open heart and neurointervention patients
