Summary Monday - Friday Hours: Typically 8 hr days (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm) Location: Primary location is St Joseph's Breese, some travel to St Joseph's Highland and Holy Family Greeville For more information contact Debbie.Suttles@hshs.org The Educator-Nursing position provides in-depth knowledge and demonstration of technical skills pertinent to nursing and the specialty area of practice. The position is used to promote education and development of the direct care providers to enhance the quality of care to patients. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice plus 3 years clinical experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree. Master’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Experience Four years of staff nurse or healthcare experience is required. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred. Specialty certification is preferred.
