Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is searching for a passionate Environmental Health & Safety Summer Intern in Cartersville, GA.

 The 2025 Summer Internship Program is designed to expose students to the many facets of business and culture. Each intern will work on a project-based, real work assignment that aligns with their area of study. Interns will receive firsthand experience with our culture and business environment through networking opportunities, plant tours and special presentations. 

What you’ll do:

Work alongside EHS professionals to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections Help in the investigation and documentation of safety incidents and near-misses Contribute to the development of corrective action plans Work on site specific risk reduction activities May require travel to other Trinity locations

What you'll need:

Must be pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Healthy (OSH) or related field Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative
