The health services that became the Anthony L Jordan Health Corporation (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. Jordan Health is now seeking an EHR Specialist who, under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Operations, is primarily responsible for working with executive, clinical, IT and clinical operations management to ensure that all aspects of the EHR meet the needs of Jordan Health patients, medical and finance staff and other internal and external users of clinical and administrative information.

Requirements
RequirementsThe EHR Specialist will ensure to:
· Provide consultation and works in collaboration with representatives of internal departments and external organizations to operationalize program.
· Effectively manage projects that include IT and EHR crossover (such as EHR product integration and interfaces) and guides teams in integrating new technologies and functionalities.
· Educate the internal customer on clinical information system processes and requirements. Provides continuous education to improve efficiency of EHR related workflow.
· Communicate project milestones, major project decisions and overall project status to IT manager and senior leadership, advising IT/senior management of problems or situations requiring assistance and provides guidance and direction on proposed options.
· Responsible for setting up new providers in EHR, requesting license from vendor, as well as linking to RHIO Lab Interface, SureScripts, ePrescribing, and any other external systems, as appropriate (including ePartner, CareConnect, VHR, iStop, etc.)
· Integrate EHR hardware and software, including managing all requirements related to accurate interpretation for build.
Education And Experience Required:
· Requires Bachelor’s Degree, prefer Master’s Degree, in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Information Services or equivalent degree and /or experience.
· Requires cultural competency related to different ethnic, socioeconomic and racial backgrounds.
· Prefer extensive previous experience in Clinical Information Systems/EMR deployment, enterprise applications or other complex project leadership, planning, implementation and management.
· Familiarity with process/performance improvement methodologies, implementing change, risk assessments, and gap analysis.
· Requires understanding of clinical software applications and how they facilitate patient care.
· Requires knowledge and understanding of the nuances of clinical and patient care processes, especially in ambulatory settings.
· Requires excellent verbal, nonverbal, written and presentation communication skills. Willingness to learn new technologies within EHR and related applications.
· Requires a high level of problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Requires facilitation skills to successfully organize, lead and motivate an interdisciplinary team to accomplish project goals in a tight timeframe.
· Requires ability to maintain a high customer service approach to all tasks.
· Requires ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization; relates well to people of diverse backgrounds.
· Requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Requires strong time management, organizational management and interpersonal skills along with the ability to track and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Licenses And Certifications:
· Prefer clinical credentials/licensure (e.g., RN)
Special Skills, Knowledge Required:
· Prior experience with EMR systems.
