Job Family Definition:
Responsible for the development, facilitation and implementation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs for the company, with the objectives to proactively reduce risks and ensure compliance with regulations and prevent liabilities. Works across the company and with the businesses/functions, and key suppliers/contractors to ensure implementation of an appropriate EHS management system (including ISO14001) and industry standards. Tracks, reviews, consults and implements EHS regulations, promulgated by country, state/province and local regulatory authorities, such as OSHA, EPA, etc. for all work activities, including those at customer sites and mobile environments. Communicates with and provides necessary reports to Country, State/Province and Local governmental agencies, as well as internal partners and customers. Supports and contributes to Global Citizenship Report and Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Outsourcing (MADO) activities and Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) auditing program. Directs and facilitates audits, identifies training needs, and leads efforts in preventative injury management, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and occupational health risks and environmental strategies. Performs financial and risk analysis and research, to determine strategies to implement programs such as emergency preparedness, chemical management, ergonomics, workers compensation case management, and remediation. Accountable for EHS costs, including forecasting and achieving budgets. Performs functions requiring specialized skills in one or more areas such as safety engineering, health risk assessments, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, emerging technologies and environmental regulations. May include specialized occupational health activities such as nursing and practicing medicine, including health surveillance and health promotion.

Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Responsibilities:
Section A- EHS
Establishment of environment, safety and health management system which is implemented in all workplaces of HPE Korea.Taking measures to mitigate the identified EHS risks to ensure the compliance of the company and safety and health of the employees (including contingent workers and subcontractors who work on HPE’s premises).Responsible for developing and implementing all the HPE EHS programs in HPE Korea which include but not limited to:Risk assessment- conduct and record risk assessment for all sites of HPE Korea regularly (quarterly, annually)EHS training and communicationCoordinate Fire Fighting Training, First-Aid Training, Safety Committee Rep Training, New Employee Orientation and other EHS legally required trainings:Assist in training forecast.Coordinate the training schedule with the appropriate vendor.Promote the events and ensure employee participation.Communicate the training information to wide audiences and perform the trainings.EPR (Emergency Preparedness and Response) programUndertake the management of the Fire Drill for HPE’s site annually with the Landlord.Review and communicate the site evacuation procedures.Conduct the Emergency Response Team (ERT) re-fresher briefing, including the update of the ERT list.Coordinate with the building landlord on all Fire Drill matters (incl. permits).Conduct yearly Fire Drill and prepare a report.Facilitate Fire Drill review meeting, keep attendance records and minutes-of- meeting.Facilitate the review and update of EPR procedure on quarterly or as needed basis.Develop a procedure for newly identified emergencies and communicate changes to the EPR programs/procedures/processes.Assist in responding to emergencies and work with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in managing the emergencies.Compliance assuranceConduct periodic audits and verify HPE’s compliance to all applicable legislative requirements and communicate status and findings within GW and Country Leadership team.develop and maintain a Legislative Register for HPE, which provides status of compliance against all regulatory requirements.When gaps are identified in the Legislative Register, determine a documented action plan to timely close those gaps.Prepare and maintain a Legislative Compliance Report.Communicating with local authoritiescoordinate, facilitate and communicate, to all stakeholders, of all regulatory visits and inspections by the authorities, namely Country Fire Protection Bureau, Department of Environment and Natural Resources.prepare and circulate all Visitation Reports and to facilitate the closing out of all action items.communicate with key stakeholders via emails on all the above matters.Workplace Safety, Health & Fire Inspectionsconduct Safety, Health and Fire Inspections on monthly or regular basis.write a report and track all actionable items with stakeholders.HPE sites EHS Committee Meetingsfacilitate and coordinate all recurrent EHS Committee meetings according to the Legal requirements.Document the discussions of the meeting and submit minutes of meeting to members.Follow up on matters raised during the meeting.EHS Investigationsfacilitate investigations into EHS issues, incidents and near misses as they arise.prepare report with recommendations and circulate to stakeholders.To monitor corrective action and close-out status.EHS record managementupkeep and maintain all EHS documents and records in the HPE’s Share Point system.facilitate the development of site-specific EHS procedures, as required.Maintain HPE South Korea EHS webpages.Crisis ManagementAttend and participate all CMT meetings that are called during crisis.advice the CMT on matters impacting the employees due to the crisis and provide possible solutions.Respond to worker’s counsel requests/issues.Section B- Workplace service
Office managementCollaborates with HPE’s IFM provider and security vendor to execute high quality site operations, maintenance and office services.Measures onsite service provider performance and troubleshoot problems by analyzing performance metrics and giving timely feedback.Stakeholder engagementServes as the primary contact for local leaders, team members, landlords and IFM leads in order to understand customer needs, communicate pertinent information, and drive an excellent onsite experience.Participates in strategy setting, change management, and execution of projects and actions affecting a site (e.g., technology upgrades, workplace transformations, site relocations, etc).Cost managementManages the site OPEX budget and implements cost saving, quality improvement, and efficiency projects onsite.Culture managementSupport site-level events including site celebrations, ATM event, etc.Monitor site utilization and support efficient usage of spaces.Leverage Slack to engage with site communities.Education and Experience:
Holding a college degree, an engineering certificate relevant to industry safety or professional experience in industry safety field.Typically 6-10 years experience in a related field recommended.산업안전지도사, 산업안전산업기사/건설안전산업기사 이상의 자격증 보유자.Knowledge and Skills:
