EHS COE and Solutions Consultant

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Client Engagement and EHS Consultancy:

Serve as the Intelex EHS subject matter expert reporting into sales, offering consultative guidance and insight to internal stakeholders (business development, pre-sales, sales, marketing, product management, services, customer success) and clients/prospects. Engage with clients to understand their specific EHS needs and pain points, providing tailored recommendations and strategic advice to optimize their use of Intelex software to help drive customer outcomes and Intelex sales. Build and nurture relationships with clients, prospects, partners and other industry influencers. Assist customers and prospects in improving their safety programs by analyzing processes data and systems to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, ultimately enhancing workplace safety and compliance.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Collaborate with the sales/pre-sales teams to develop and execute strategies that address the unique challenges and requirements of target customers, industries, and adjacent markets. Engage in customer needs analysis/assessments, identifying opportunities for process improvement and aligning Intelex software solutions with organizational safety goals. Show/demonstrate Intelex software as needed to support client/prospect engagement on how Intelex can solve customer problems and deliver outcomes. Provide input on sales enablement and for industry specific use cases, target personas helping develop and deliver training and playbooks, to ensure effective messaging of Intelex's value proposition. Engage with customers and Intelex sales in the development of a customer ROI and business justification for investment in Intelex solutions.

Marketing Collaboration and Thought Leadership:

Partner with the marketing team to develop and participate in targeted campaigns that position Intelex as an EHS thought leader in the EHS market. Create and deliver content such as articles, webinars, and presentations to demonstrate expertise and best practices. Engage in customer road shows, councils, and round tables. 

Product Enhancement and Solutions Strategy:

Act as a liaison between sales, customers/prospects, and the product team, capturing feedback and insights to inform product development and enhancements tailored to priority use cases and target personas. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring Intelex's offerings meet evolving client needs. Identify industry ecosystem partners that can help Intelex deliver more value to its clients and help differentiate Intelex in the market. Engage with customers on first of a kind solutions and proof of concept to position Intelex as an industry innovator.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

Develop and deliver internal and external training programs focused on EHS best practices and effective utilization of Intelex software. Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to disseminate success stories and innovative solutions.

Industry Engagement:

Represent Intelex at industry conferences and tradeshows, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation as an EHS thought leader and solutions provider. Engage in strategic planning sessions to ensure industry trends and client feedback are incorporated into company strategy, partner ecosystem strategy, and product strategy

Skills & Work Traits:

Demonstrated experience as an EHS practitioner within ICP industries, with a keen understanding of related challenges and regulations. Proven ability to consultatively engage with clients, building credibility and fostering long-term relationships. Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to drive sales and product strategies. Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation abilities. Strategic and analytical mindset, with a focus on process improvement and data-driven decision-making. Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States for client engagement and industry events.
