We areseekinga proactive and motivated EHS Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who may not have extensive experience in safety but has a strong awareness of workplace safety and is eager to learn and grow in the EHS field. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who canidentifypotential hazards, take initiative, and help cultivate a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs and policies.
+ Assistwith conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
+ Observe and report potential hazards and unsafe conditions in the workplace.
+ Promote a safety-first mindset among employees through training, education, and daily interactions.
+ Coordinate and support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions.
+ Helpmaintaincompliance with OSHA and other applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
+ Assistwith incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions.
+ Maintain EHS documentation, reports, and records.
+ Partner with supervisors and employees to proactivelyidentifysafety improvement opportunities.
+ Support environmental compliance initiatives such as waste management, recycling programs, and sustainability efforts.
**Qualifications**
**Skills and Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, safety management, or similar
+ OSHA or similar EHS certification
+ A minimum of two years of experience as an EHS coordinator PIT Training Experience or PIT certification
+ Safety training experience
+ Prior experience in a similar role
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in safety, environmental science, or a related field is a plus.
