Job Description:
The candidate will work to create and enforce a culture of safety and jointly will implement programs, policies, and assessments to ensure PCC Structurals Inc., Ogden (and all of its employees) are in compliance with all federal and internal environmental, health and safety regulations. The candidate may also review reports and findings to monitor performance and detect trends related to environmental, health and safety. The candidate should be familiar with the following regulatory programs such as PPE, Electrical Safety, Lockout/Tag out, Bloodborne Pathogen, Machine Guarding, Forklift, Hazard Communication and other programs as the need arises.

Comply with and support PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and Company policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State and Local regulations.Comply with and support AS9100, SOX requirements and all PCC Rules, including EHS and Quality.Serve as designated safety representative of assigned facility, coordinating and implementing all areas of the company safety programs.Support management’s efforts to ensure compliance with corporate EHS Program expectations and applicable federal and state law.Conduct safety self-audit and inspection programs, maintain accurate records of such audits, implement recommendations for corrective or preventive measures when gaps or non-compliance items are discovered, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly and monthly audits.Facilitate and support incident investigation process.Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly metrics reporting to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems.Provide immediate aid for individuals needing medical attention.Train, communicate and assist others to understand and complete their safety/environmental responsibilities.Monitor safety regulations as applied to the use and handling of equipment, vehicles and licensing requirements.Maintain EH&S records as required.Develop and support implementation of various safety policies and programs.Handle confidential information.Manage Hazardous Waste (WAA, profiles, and coordinate disposal)Initiate and maintain permits for environmentalOther duties and special projects as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
