This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new lithium-ion battery production facility in Penang, Malaysia for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.

Job DescriptionAdvising the management on EHS issues as well as developing EHS policies and proceduresMonitoring and controlling EHS and compliance in the organization as per the law and organization's policy.Coordinates the monitoring of workplace and acts as a liaison to appropriate regulatory agencies or certification bodies. Maintain the EHS related licenses/Permits.Carrying out EHS inspections and internal audits and reporting to management with suggestionsEnsure preventive measures, administrative control and personal protective equipment are implemented and used.Establish and manage the fire safety programs, ERT. Investigate and report accidents and near misses.Waste management which include waste inventory, disposal, tracking, records keeping per DOE requirement. Record keeping of all EHS events, training and drills.Responsible for the recognition, evaluation, and control of EHS factors and stresses arising in or from the workplace. Establish and maintain EHS related SOP and procedure.QualificationsRequires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines.Requires a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in EH&S or related position. Prior experience in EH&S within a manufacturing environment. Experience in new factory start up preferred. Good Education of Environmental health and safetyWorking knowledge of emergency and safety proceduresWorking knowledge of laws and regulations related to the environment and workplace health and safety.Working knowledge in ISO14001 and ISO45001 is an advantage.Competence in CePSWaM or CePBFO is an advantage.Enovix is an equal opportunity employer.
