Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a EHS Manager. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN facility.
The EHS Manager establishes, manages and coordinates all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security processes and programs for the facility. The EHS Manager will develop, implement, and drive programs which enable the facility to meet regulatory and corporate requirements. The EHS Manager supports the creation of a strong culture that engages employees in the achievement of the company’s goal of a “Zero Incident” Culture.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

Required Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution Minimum three (3) years experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN to be considered. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Science from an accredited institutionProfessional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
Skills: Knowledge of state and federal occupational environmental, health and safety and health laws and regulations.Knowledge of workers compensation administration Effective oral and written communication skills, tact, diplomacy, and performance assessment skills.Strong interpersonal skills. Must have strong presentation and facilitation skills.Effective use of communication and tact with stakeholders.Strong analytical thinking skills; intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability.Data-driven, disciplined, objective, and detail-oriented.Acts as a business partner; sees the big picture and works through ambiguity and change.Ability to be energetic, a critical thinker, skilled in driving process improvement.Ability to influence and motivate people.
