Summary: Seeking an EHS Manager to ensure employee safety, maintain compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, and transform the current EHS culture from compliance-based to culturally based.
Requirements:
BS in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environment, Health and Safety, Chemistry, Biology or related science field.
Advanced certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) NEBOSH Certification is desirable but not required.
8-10 years of experience in environmental health and safety discipline with a strong focus on safety.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional.
Experience in aerospace preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive the transformation of the current EHS culture from compliance to culturally based.
Influence negotiation and conflict resolution
Provide strategic guidance for program management
Lead the investigation of all high actual/potential incidents and facilitate the root cause/corrective action (RCCA) with all key individuals within the site. Report findings as per the Incident Management Process.
Provide support for medical and industrial hygiene programs. Work closely with Human Resources and Operations teams on pre-employment fitness for duty and return-to-work program evaluations.

Strong technical and regulatory expertise in environmental health and safety regulatory requirements
Knowledge of industry standards including but not limited to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 4500
