EHS Manager in Projects Responsibilities: Provide support throughout the project life cycle to ensure compliance with relevant internal and external EHS regulations and mitigate hazards and risks. Assist the project team with planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and fostering continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with Siemens policies and local/national environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the project. Perform risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential EHS risks impacting the project and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Develop and implement EHS plans, including training programs, monitoring protocols, reporting systems, and emergency response plans, to ensure EHS protection at all project stages. Communicate and collaborate effectively with project teams, partners, regulatory authorities, and contractors. Liaise with customer and contractor EHS representatives to address project execution and onsite EHS issues. Oversee onsite EHS conditions, conduct regular inspections to identify risks, and define corrective measures for internal team members and contractors. Manage EHS-related incidents by conducting investigations, preparing reports, and developing corrective actions. Provide necessary EHS training to ensure project teams and relevant personnel understand and follow EHS policies and procedures. Collect, analyze, and report EHS-related data to assess and improve project performance. Deliver regular EHS reports to the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Country EHS team. Handle EHS documentation, especially in projects where most team members work night shifts, by managing and supporting related administrative tasks. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EHS management effectiveness and evaluate contractor performance in EHS compliance. Provide feedback to procurement teams as needed. Guide and lead project teams on EHS matters, ensuring adherence to the highest safety and environmental standards. Requirements:Relevant experience in railway / metro projects Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional certifications in Occupational safety management specialist or occupational health management specialist or occupational safety and health management staff.
