EHS Manager

Environmental Health & Safety Manager

We seek a proactive individual to maintain a daily presence at our facilities. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role involves overseeing various policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all employees, and intervening when necessary.

Job Description: 

Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments.Perform facility inspections and maintain EH&S documentation.Oversee Hazardous Waste Storage for regulatory compliance.Assist with legal and regulatory compliance.Prepare EH&S reports (e.g., Tier II Stormwater DMRs).Advise on EH&S issues and recommend improvements.Participate in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.Develop Task Hazard Analysis (THA).Assist in EH&S training development and presentation.Ensure adherence to EH&S regulations and safety practices.Maintain positive relations with managers, employees, customers, and regulatory agencies.Administer compliance programs (e.g., LOTO, Hazard Communication).

Basic Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.5+ years of EH&S experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences.Knowledge of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA).Experience with hazardous waste management.24 or 40 HAZWOPER Certification.Technical writing experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06
