Role Responsibilities:
Planning
• Implement operationally the laid down EHS principles, standards and guidelines procedures in the Unit
• Assist in EHS Governance through Systems & Procedures implementation in the unit
• Provide real time information to facilitate policy/strategy formulation/ updation
• Monitor implementation of EHS KPIs and EHS performance at unit level
• Be the Interface between Corporate EHS representatives & Regional/ Unit Management for safety related matters• Plan Vs Actual
Communication
• Communicate the laid down EHS principles, standards, guidelines procedures to all personnel in the Unit
• Co-ordinate periodic EHS Meetings (monthly) , Management Reviews and provide guidance for EHS Statutory Approval & Compliance
• Conduct EHS Training for all personnel in the unit• Plan Vs Actual
EHS Performance
• Conduct need based Environment, Safety and Fire audits for the unit
• Plan, implement and monitor corrective actions in the unit
• Ensure serious Accidents are reported & investigated with root cause analysis • EHS Performance Index
• Audit Reports
• Investigation Reports
Reporting
• Consolidate MIS on Accidents, Safety & Environment Performance to Unit Management to facilitate corrective actions/ decisions
• Develop inputs for Environment & Safety Promotional activities• Accuracy
• Adherence to timelines
Manex
• Ensure run DOR meetings T1,T2 & T3 in respective area
• Lead ITF pillar
• Ensure reapected process confirmation score for DOR
• Lead FI Projects for EHS
