EHS Manager
Job Description
The EHS Manager is responsible for the daily administration and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a safe and healthful working environment. The role may involve performing assignments of moderate complexity under the direction of a supervisor.
Responsibilities
+ Managing recordkeeping systems
+ Conducting training in all OSH topics
+ Managing Hazardous Waste in accordance with RCRA regulations
+ Conducting walk-through inspections and internal/external audits
+ Recognizing hazards
+ Participating in accident investigations and/or emergency response
+ Addressing employee OSH concerns
+ Implementing OSH measures, programs, and procedures
+ Maintaining metrics and KPIs
+ Preparing technical reports
+ Performing sampling and monitoring
Essential Skills
+ Experience in a manufacturing (ideally FDA regulated)
+ Leadership capabilities
+ Internal/external audit experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Thorough knowledge of life safety and applicable regulatory compliance
+ Machine guarding and lockout/tagout electrical safety
+ Strong communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Training experience
+ Strong computer skills
+ Strong leadership ability/skills
+ 4-6+ years of relevant work experience in OSH
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00
