Job Description
The EHS Manager is responsible for the daily administration and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a safe and healthful working environment. The role may involve performing assignments of moderate complexity under the direction of a supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesManaging recordkeeping systemsConducting training in all OSH topicsManaging Hazardous Waste in accordance with RCRA regulationsConducting walk-through inspections and internal/external auditsRecognizing hazardsParticipating in accident investigations and/or emergency responseAddressing employee OSH concernsImplementing OSH measures, programs, and proceduresMaintaining metrics and KPIsPreparing technical reportsPerforming sampling and monitoringEssential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing (ideally FDA regulated)Leadership capabilitiesInternal/external audit experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsThorough knowledge of life safety and applicable regulatory complianceMachine guarding and lockout/tagout electrical safetyStrong communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyTraining experienceStrong computer skillsStrong leadership ability/skills4-6+ years of relevant work experience in OSHPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00
