We are seeking an initiative-taking and detail-oriented Health & Safety Advisor to support an outsourced Facilities Management contract for a pharmaceutical client located in King of Prussia, PA. The role requires ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (EHS) regulations, supporting operational teams, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety for 3 locations in the surrounding area. 

What You'll Do EHS Compliance & SupportProvide technical guidance to Sodexo teams and contractors supporting the GSK account.Monitor compliance with EHS programs, track performance metrics, and report progress.Stay updated on regulatory changes (OSHA, EPA, ISO standards) and advise operational teams on necessary adjustments.Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.Risk Management & Incident InvestigationConduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and support implementation of corrective actions.Maintain and improve EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.Training & Employee EngagementDevelop and deliver EHS training programs, including emergency response, industrial hygiene, and safety awareness.Promote a positive safety culture, encouraging initiative-taking hazard reporting and safety ownership at all levels.Lead Zero Harm Mindset Initiatives and engage with employees to drive behavioral safety improvements.Continuous Improvement & ReportingIdentify opportunities to enhance EHS procedures, training, and workplace safety initiatives.Analyze safety performance data, track key indicators, and report trends to site leadership.Oversee the EHS Management Monitoring program, ensuring continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Work Environment & Expectations

Role requires working onsite at the pharmaceutical client’s facility with occasional travel as needed.Ability to work in a highly regulated and dynamic environment.Must be proactive, adaptable, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively. What We Offer

What You Bring Associates Degree in environmental health & safety (EHS) Preferred or equivalent Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in facilities management or a highly regulated industry.Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations.CSP or ASP Certified Pharmaceutical experience preferred Strong ability to engage and influence employees and management at all levels.Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in safety data analysis.Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
