EHS Manager
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting operations and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as an EHS Manager, along with strong leadership and management skills to drive safety initiatives and align with the organization's goals. **Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager** **Location: Louisville, CO** **Pay Rate: $115,000 - $126,000** **What’s the Job?** + Point of contact for team. Responds to in a timely manner to troubleshooting issues with complete resolution + Responsible for interviewing, selecting, and training all new employees to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to perform duties to company standards, responsible for escalation of employee issues, and company violations to the organization, + Performs all compliance with company standards, identify all safety issues-report and resolve in a timely manner, set and adjust employee rates of pay and hours of work with production manager. + Conducts comprehensive audits of work plans, activities, practices, equipment and tools as part of a constant monitoring process to control, eliminate and control hazards and injury + Performs system checks to ensure proper operation and calibration of equipment, document and report deficiencies and recommend corrrective actions. **What’s Needed?** + Bachelors Degree + 5yrs EHS management experience + Experience with manufacturing and engineering-preferably within the oil/gas industry + Identify and resolve problems promptly, attention to detail and accuracy, excellent management, communication, organization and planning skills + Knowledge of PPE, H2S, OSHA/OSHA logs, JSA's, EHS fundamentals, NFPA, API, federal EPA, regulations and standards in the oil/gas and manufacturing industry. **What’s in it for me?** + Annual bonus based on company performance + Health Insurance plans for you and your family + 401k/ESOP program + $25,000 company paid life insurance + Education reimbursement + Paid sick/vacation/holidays If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
