EHS Manager
**Aerotek is hiring a Safety Manager** **Responsibilities** + Develop and implement the annual EHS Action Plan. + Facilitate leadership involvement in the safety program and promote a strong safety culture. + Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. + Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to seniorleadership. + Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify potential workplace hazards. + Design and implement safety, security, and environmental policies in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. + Develop training materials, safe operating procedures, and safety awareness campaigns. + Manage emergency response plans and coordinate safety drills. + Perform regular safety inspections and audits, providing corrective recommendations. + Compile and submit regulatory data, including OSHA 300 and 300A logs and environmental data. + Oversee the administration of workers' compensation claims and work with insurance carriers to manage claims. + Design and conduct safety training programs for employees and contractors. + Maintain and track training records and certifications. + Work with vendors to procure safety-related supplies and services. **Essential Skills** + Certified OSHA trainer with the ability to conduct OSHA 10- and 30-hour manufacturing classes. + Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations. + Experience in developing and implementing safety programs and training materials. + Excellent communication and leadership skills. + Ability to conduct thorough investigations and provide detailed reports. + Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard analysis. + Ability to manage emergency response plans and coordinate safety drills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. + Five or more years of related safety management experience and/or training. + Experience with workers' compensation claims management. + Ability to work with outside vendors and manage safety-related supplies and services. **Work Environment** The work environment involves occasional exposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, electrical shock risk, and vibrations. The noise level is usually moderate. This role requires regular communication, standing, walking, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
