EHS Program Manager
Job Title: EHS Program ManagerJob Description

The EHS Program Manager will be responsible for the daily administration and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements that promote a safe and healthful working environment. The individual may perform assignments of moderate complexity following the direction of an assigned supervisor.

ResponsibilitiesManage recordkeeping systemsConduct training in all OSH topicsManage Hazardous Waste in accordance with RCRA regulationsConduct walk-through inspections and internal/external auditsRecognize hazardsParticipate in accident investigations and/or emergency responseAddress employee OSH concernsImplement OSH measures, programs, and proceduresMaintain metrics and KPI’sPrepare technical reportsPerform sampling and monitoringEssential SkillsBS Degree in OSH or Environment EngineeringExperience in a manufacturing, ideally FDA regulatedLeadership capabilitiesInternal and external audit experienceThorough knowledge of life safety and applicable regulatory complianceExperience with machine guarding and lockout/tagout electrical safetyStrong communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeStrong computer skillsStrong leadership abilitiesAdditional Skills & QualificationsEHS managementSafety trainingOSHA top 10 programsExperience in a lean environmentErgonomics and workers' compensation experience4-6+ years of relevant work experience in OSHWork Environment

Large manufacturing and distribution facility. This is a very hands-on role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
