To be an active consultant and collaborator for any claim investigations, claim management and mitigation relating to quality and quality assurance. To administer and update a quality management system around ISO9001 compliance for all Master Builders operations in North America, including audit preparations. **Responsibilities** + Main contact person for questions, support and updates regarding product quality and quality assurance. + Collaborate with Research &Development, Marketing, Human Resources and Operations on any product changes to process/formulation/handling that may require assessment of quality control measures, modifications of quality assurance SOP and or policy updates. + Provide training, guidance, and compliance audits for all quality assurance protocols at the manufacturing sites. This includes inspection, calibration, and recommendation for when QC equipment needs repairs or replacement. + Build good working relationship with Director of Manufacturing, the site managers and lead operators throughout the network. Close collaboration and problem solving are critical activities, most effective when this position has established good communication, consistency, and reliability. + Provide consultation and claim management support to the EHSQ team/sales/operations regarding investigations into quality/performance issues that could negatively impact our customers and our business. Implement any corrective actions and process changes from claim resolution learnings that can reduce risk for further quality issues. + Review, revise and maintain the necessary documentation and protocols that pertain to ISO9001 certification. This too will require close collaboration within the manufacturing network. + Collaborate with Director of EHSQ, EHSQ colleagues and Director of Manufacturing on a system for document archiving and updating to assure proper organization, retention, and audit requirement. + This position will be part of the team to assess new business opportunities from a quality/quality assurance perspective, as it relates to process changes, introduction of new technologies, new vendors, new production sites, etc. **Education** + 4-year degree preferred, studies/certifications: technical attributes relating to systems, process, and quality management. + 3-5 years’ experience with quality systems and processes within a similar type manufacturing or construction related industry. **Skills and Knowledge** + Experience and knowledge working in similar production/process environment with focus on quality systems and processes. + High level analytical skills: problem-solving capabilities, curious nature to ask, learn and investigate. + Good interpersonal skills and a team collaborator (at times will need to lead calls and drive actions, while also able to play support role and collaborator). + Excellent communication skills up chain of command, within peer network, and in representing the organization to external agencies and customers. + Good English grammar and speaking skills. + Self-motivated with a structured working style, discipline with deadlines and timeliness with administrative duties **Travel** + Travel required to sites in North America as necessary for training, audit preparation, etc. (20%) **What We Offer:** As an employee of Master Builder Solutions, you will enjoy competitive health and insurance plans, robust retirement benefits with company-matching contributions, and continuous opportunities for learning and growth.
