Job Summary:
Seeking an EHS Specialist with regulatory knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standard 1910 and EPA RCRA, experienced in developing EHS programs and conducting training.
Job Requirements:
BS Degree in Safety or related field
Regulatory knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standard 1910 and EPA RCRA
Experience in developing EHS programs and delivering training
Experience in conducting root cause analysis and risk assessments
Preferred Skills:
Experience with pollution prevention activities and compliance auditing
Familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and documentation
Experience in evaluating proposed regulations for impact on financial, industrial, public, and environmental factors
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, administer, and implement environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements
Monitor pollution prevention activities and compliance efforts as needed
Conduct studies and prepare environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes, and permit changes
Review and analyze environmental documentation from federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
Interact with regulators to resolve compliance issues and establish permit requirements
Assist in regulatory audits and represent the company in government and industry rulemaking activities
Ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken where environmental, health, and safety hazards exist
Provide and promote employee awareness and training on EHS matters
Pay: 29-39

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
