Implement and maintain site level environmental programs, policies, and procedures at the Plant to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, and internal corporate policies and standards.
Ensure compliance with site specific Title V, NDPES, and Industrial Discharge Permits; Spill Prevention Plan and Storm water Protection Plan; and waste management regulations.
Build working relationships and serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies such as IEPA, EPA, and MWRD.
Continually improve site specific programs and tools/software to execute environmental requirements.
Provide information and guidance to site leadership regarding changes to government regulations, proposed regulations, data trends, and corporate standard changes that may impact the site.
Interact with third-party vendors regarding disposal of waste, water testing, etc.
