Purpose:

In this role, you'll be a leader in safeguarding our people and environment. As an EHS Supervisor, you'll develop and implement critical EHS programs that keep our employees safe and minimize our environmental impact. You'll have a direct impact on building a balanced and responsible future for our company.

Ensuring the workplace adheres to all applicable laws and JJ standardsLeading all aspects of permitting processesConducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation plansInvestigating accidents and incidents to prevent future occurrencesDeveloping and maintaining safety programs and procedures for design, construction, commissioning and operational readiness stages.Providing EHS training and orientation for employees and contractorsEncouraging a safe work culture through communication and awareness programsLeading the development and implementation of EHS programs across departments within the business unitOverseeing emergency response planning and preparednessMonitoring and tracking EHS performance metricsCollaborating with other departments to integrate EHS considerations

6 years of experience of Environmental, Health and Safety4 years of manufacturing and/or plant experienceStrong communication interpersonal skillsISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation/sustaining experienceSolid understanding in OSHA, ANSI and NFPA standardsExperience in industrial hygiene and chemical managementStrong written and spoken English is requiredPreferred:Experience in start-up projects
