SUMMARY: Under the direction of the EHS Manager, this position is responsible for helping drive employee engagement and risk reduction through communicating, coaching, auditing and improving environmental, health and safety programs.

Ability to perform job-related tasks/duties, according to job standards.Train and coach hourly operators and other employees on environmental, health and safety requirementsSupport operations improvement eventsAudit site environmental, health and safety programs, identify gaps, propose and implement solutions.Manage Good Catch action item tracking system including entry of items and assisting supervisors with completing actionsWork with necessary site personnel to identify, address, and eliminate EHS related obstacles.Participate in Management of Change assessments as required to support operational changesMaintain training records for computer based and live trainingCreate and distribute environmental, health and safety communications for all teammatesParticipate in incident investigation process by coaching to determine root cause and assist in resolving action itemsDrive employee engagement with environmental, health and safety through communication and coachingCollaborate with EHS team to identify and implement proactive programs and preventive actions to reduce EHS risk and improve compliance.Other duties as identified by the EHS ManagerAllegion is a diverse and inclusive environment.
