Job Description Supporting large, enterprise footprint deployments of Elasticsearch in a fast-paced, mission environment Providing full troubleshooting support to Elasticsearch deployments as needed, to include the system and software levels Configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Elasticsearch environments and Upgrading Elasticsearch as required Supporting the architecture, design, and deployment of new Elasticsearch clusters or capabilities as needed Creating, reviewing, and maintaining information technology documentation, particularly related to Elasticsearch capabilities and requirements Evaluate and optimize Elasticsearch clusters, including configuration parameters, indexing, search, query performance tuning, security, and administration Manage and administer the On-Premise Elasticsearch clusters that includes deployment, configuration, index management, Cross-cluster replication, Snapshot/restore, agent management, cluster upgrades, Index Templates Management and troubleshoot various issues with the clusters (errors like unassigned shards, automation issues, to node/cluster failures) Setting Up Cross-Cluster Replication (CCR) between the Elasticsearch Clusters and in creating replication policies such as which indices should be replicated, replication schedules, and handling of data conflicts. Enable Self-Healing capability for Elasticsearch, OpenShift, Web servers, application servers, and other Device Technology Applications to create fault-tolerant environments Enable encrypted communications in Elasticsearch and Authentication in Kibana to secure the Production Elasticsearch Data. Regularly tune Elasticsearch configurations, including optimizing queries, adjusting index settings, optimizing field mappings, and optimizing shard and replica settings to improve query and indexing performance Ensure the Elasticsearch clusters continue to run under optimal conditions and evaluate existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, search and query performance tuning, security and administration Secure access to the Elasticsearch cluster, its data and APIs according to required access control policies and troubleshoot various issues with the clusters (errors like unassigned shards, to automation issues, to node / cluster failures) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
