Job Description
Main purpose of the job and key background information
Activities to be performed :
Study storyboards and determine requirements
Follow brand guidelines and create designs which are brand compliant
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Create themes and template designs to present ideas
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Work with Instructional Designers to produce final design
Amend designs after feedback
Create designs that are accessibility compliant (visual and hearing planning) that can be incorporated into the media (using alt tags)
Create low fidelity working prototypes of course design
Author and review WBTs using tools like Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, GoMo (optional)
Test course functionality, completion, course flow, content links, embedded media on iphone and desktop view to confirm responsiveness of design
Maintain project documentation and course folders (course index - complete record of a course - for media or any assets - complete record of the asset)
Coordinate with project development team and SMEs
Apply agile working practices within the team to support efficiencies with real time development (that work with onshore or offshore team members)

Education/qualifications: Graduate and above/relevant degree or certification
Knowledge of tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, MS Office (Specially PowerPoint), G Suite (Google Slides), Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, GoMo (optional), Vyond, cc tools, audio software (Audition/Audacity) and motion graphic (optional)
Industry experience: At least 2 years in graphic design and eLearn authoring
Technical capability: Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements, creating and reviewing images and layouts using design software, understanding design scopes, studying ID briefs and determining requirements, following latest design trends and emerging technologies, authoring and reviewing WBTs, formatting and branding ILTs/VILTs, client communication, SME interaction
Key personal attribute:
Good verbal and written communication skills, proven instructional design experience, a strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics, a keen eye for aesthetics and details
