Responsibilities:
Research prospective clients through several strategies – most importantly through the use of the internet, but also through trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories, and personal investigation. Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients. Attend Trade Shows, Conferences, Events, and Functions relating to the industry in order to develop contacts and leads. Utilise social skills and standing to best represent TransPerfect Translations in order to make a positive impression on prospective clients. Creatively problem-solve to improve current New Business Development strategy. Assist Directors of Business Development in day-to-day tasks, ranging from answering telephone calls, developing warm leads, marketing. Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, including how TransPerfect charges, justification for turnaround time, and competitors’ information.Required Skills/Background:
Minimum 3 year degree or related business experience 3 years' of experience in sales or related rolesExcellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) Effective time management Customer support experience The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the company's solutions, competition. A keen interest in the eLearning industry would be a bonus as the primary market focus for this role is the corporate education sector,
