We are seeking a highly skilled eLearning Developer who can support our growing course list in the Environment, Health and Safety, Human Resources and Leadership and Development content teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and interactive eLearning content. The eLearning Developer needs to have experience in instructional design principles, multimedia development, eLearning technologies, time management, and organizational skills.
Job Summary:
The eLearning Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing eLearning courses and supplemental materials for Simplify Compliance customers. The eLearning Developer will engage and collaborate with various sponsors including Editorial staff, and Learning & Development colleagues. This role will assist with the of leverage adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and user experience best practices for the continuous improvement of Simplify Compliance learning assets. The primary focus of this role is to develop eLearning courses.

The Individual:Strong experience with eLearning course-building tools, specifically Articulate Storyline (preferred) or similarStrong organizational and time management skills and the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a demanding environmentComfortable working in a matrix organization with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and geographically dispersed work environmentExcellent Communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to efficiently acquire new skills based on emerging technologies. Experience using audio/video editor softwareTechnically proficient and possess creative and intuitive problem-solving ability.Knowledge and practical application of adult learning principles to products to facilitate learning and enhance user experienceProficient in instructional design theories and best practices.Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook as well as Adobe InDesign and PhotoshopGraphic Design and Consulting experience a plus
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree (Instructional Design, Leaning and Development, Education, or similar) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
