Position Overview
The eLearning Specialist will utilize expertise in the instructional design and development of Interactive eLearning for use by external and internal audiences. The eLearning Specialist will demonstrate principles of Adult Learning with acknowledgement of learning style differences, as well as display knowledge of current e-learning design principles and practices. A variety of design and development tools may be used, including Techsmith Camtasia, Adobe Captivate and any HealthStream proprietary tools.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
Gather information and Collaborate with Training Team members and other internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine and prioritize eLearning development needs, learning objectives, and training content.
Draft storyboards and scripts that include opportunities for learners to develop their knowledge and skills through interactive, case-based content.
Develop training videos using aesthetic design composition that is grammatically correct and free of typographical errors.
Maintain the eLearning library including periodic review and as-needed edits and revisions.
Collaborate with the Training and Technical Writing Teams to ensure that all training assets complement each other in style and content.
Work in HealthStream's proprietary Learning Management System (LMS), including assigning learning and updating Courses and Curriculums.
Actively participate in department and organizational quality initiatives.
Actively contribute to the attainment of quarterly performance goals.
Exemplify HealthStream values on a daily basis.
Perform other duties as assigned including periodic evaluation of new design and development.
