Job Summary
The Electric Distribution Design department is seeking interns to support our design and rights of way team. Individual internships will be assigned based on candidate experience skills and interests. This internship provides hands on experience and utility operations allowing students to apply their knowledge in a professional setting while gaining exposure to real world assignments.
Key responsibilities:

assist in the design of electric distribution projects including system layouts technical drawings and field assessments support right away activities including researching land records preparing documentation and assisting with property owner communications conduct site visits to gather data verify project requirements collaborate with designers and/or right away agents to support project execution perform data entry maintain project files and ensure accuracy in documentationAdditional Information:
Internship positions will be assigned based on candidate strengths and interests.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperiencePersonal computer software applications including Microsoft Office. AutoCad experience preferred.
Verbal, written and interpersonal communication; time management and organization; math and technical aptitude.
Effectively interact with customers; work in a team; attention to detail; understand and apply work flow process.
Physical attributes to perform essential function of the job in the field and during storm trouble - walking, climbing, stooping, bending and prolonged standing.
Student must be enrolled in 4-year program or in a 2-year program
Prefer Students with a graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
Preferred degrees: Open to all
Must have a 2.5 GPA or greater.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
Proficiency in Salesforce a plus
